Playing the Persecutor role involves being a bully, hater, or troll, controlling, threatening, criticizing, and engaging in hurtful behaviors. Victims feel affected by this but may strangely derive satisfaction. Rescuers often intervene superficially, aiming to look good rather than genuinely helping. People in these roles may switch roles in a dramatic cycle. They act unconsciously, unaware of alternatives. Understanding and challenging these patterns can lead to change in behavior, beliefs, and self-perception.
- How can we change and stop these behaviors?
- How can we protect ourselves and loved ones from drama and its effects?
- How can we create environments, both personal and global, that reduce the occurrence of dramas?
